Tales from the Forest

To celebrate the publication of Tales from the Forest we are hosting two very different events in fabulous independent book shops here in the East.

In Tales from the Forest Murray Lachlan Young’s enchanting story poems weave a spellbinding tale of how Atom and Luna came to be.  Bek Palmer’s breathtaking illustrations bring the forest to life with vibrant colours and enchanting detail.

Full of lyrical beauty and more than a sprinkle of magic, Tales from the Forest is a perfect book to share with young explorers. Let your imagination run wild as you discover the secrets of the woods!

Our first event is a family-friendly affair, taking place at the charming Nose bookshop in Walton on the Naze. Murray will read from Tales from the Forest and his other work for children, offer writing tips, and reveal the inspiration behind Atom and Luna.

For a more mature audience, we're hosting an exclusive event at Wivenhoe Bookshop exploring Murray’s work for families and adults, and the unique role Wivenhoe has played in the development of Funnelwick Limb’s work. No subject is off limits and we’ll range across Murray’s work as well as re-live Raddlesham Mumps and delve into Tales from the Forest.  Something of a one off this one so do grab your tickets while you can!
