Two Years of Atom and Luna: From Wrabness to National Tour

It's hard to believe that two years have passed since our first week of rehearsals for "The Chronicles of Atom and Luna" in Wrabness. Those early days in the community centre and the inspiring surroundings of Wrabness Nature Reserve laid the foundation for an incredible journey.

Our connection with the young people of Wix and Wrabness primary school during that time made it natural to bring the full show back to them in Autumn 2022. The creative energy we discovered in Tendring resonated so deeply that we decided to locate ourselves in the area, with the Funnelwick Limb Team team now working from Harwich Arts and Heritage Centre.

This move has allowed us to expand our reach, visiting 13 primary schools and engaging with nearly 1,000 young people across Tendring in the last year. Now, as we prepare to welcome a new cast for Atom and Luna, we're thrilled to be rehearsing and reimagining the show at the Arts Centre.

Perhaps most exciting of all, we'll be performing publicly in Tendring for the first time – at Harwich Arts and Heritage Centre on the 13 September and Sunspot, Jaywick on the 25 September. As we embark on our national tour, we're proud that Atom and Luna was inspired by and made in Tendring, we’ll fly the flag for the arts and culture of this special place throughout the UK.
